Join Fred Linehan and Bernie Graham ISK members and ACA certified instructors, for a one-day Introduction to Coastal Kayaking course. You must be an ISK member to register for this class. You can sign up quickly and easily here: Member Signup / Information.
The class covers basic strokes and boat control, landing and launching, equipment & gear, rescues, safety, navigation & coastal dynamics of wind and waves. Expect a safe and fun intro to the sport of coastal kayaking.
To participate in the class you will need a Sea Kayak with bulkheads or float bags, full perimeter deck lines and a PFD; if you have a pump and a paddle float bring them.
The class is limited to 8 participants. 
Taking this class will give you the basics needed to participate in the Labor Day Rendezvous. 

**If you don't have a sea kayak and want to try it out, please contact Fred Linehan he can help arrange one for you for an additional cost!
