Sand Island Memorial Weekend 2004
The annual excursion to Sand Island was a great weekend, although the weather could have been a bit more cooperative. We paddled out and back, with thunderstorms and wind sandwiched between. Playing in the surf (without boats, but with dry suits) proved to be a great diversion. So did naps, good food, and good company.
