June 7, 2003 REI Boat Demo Day REI invited Inland Sea Kayakers to this year's bigger than ever boat demo at Schulze Lake. We had a great turn-out of volunteers from the club to work the booth and to do water safety. Thanks to all of you who showed support for the club! When folks finished trying out boats, they wandered up to our booth and asked questions and to talk kayaking. The four hours went by quickly, although there was only one person who capsized. Just a second -- only one demo boat capsized. We did have our own fun....did you know green sit on tops can capsize?
