May 15 - Wednesday Night Paddle Another forecast that sounded dreadful -- a front moving in, thunderstorms, a mess. Yet at 6:30 p.m., Lake Calhoun was glass. And it stayed calm for us all evening. Unbelievable. Finally. The air temp was in the seventies but the water was chilly -- just ask Carrie and Eric who demonstrated their rescues at dusk.
