December 14, Pike Island/Mississippi River This day paddle brought out 13 ISKers into 40 degree weather. As much as I like snow and winter, this is the kind of day that is great for kayaking -- it was sunny with a light wind, the current was swift, the water relatively free of ice, and you can paddle, paddle, paddle.
